This article is very interesting. It's about people who can google you. So they can get informations on you. I think that it is useful for companies who are doing specific recrutement. They want to know about their eventual employee or others before an interview.
When you are recognized on google, it mades you exist and let you be visible by others.

For example, when I am googling me , i see that i am visible in certain websites concerning my tennis career in USA. ( I played 2 years for anderson university). It tells to others that i was recognized for what I did for my university. We can see in a newspaper my picture when we won an important tournament!!!
